Kyu is our Organic JAS-certified Japanese matcha, made exclusively from first-harvest Okumidori tea leaves grown in Kagoshima, Japan.

The tencha is carefully matured at low temperatures, then slowly ground using traditional stone mills that produce just 30 grams per hour per mill. This meticulous process preserves its vivid green colour, gentle sweetness, and exceptionally smooth character with minimal bitterness.

Mild and approachable, yet distinctly ceremonial in quality, Kyu is especially enjoyable as usucha (thin matcha), offering an inviting introduction to authentic Japanese matcha.
